Can you imagine riding a beautiful purpose bred, adventure horse into breathtaking locations?
This boutique horseback holiday encompasses everything those who love exploring the wilderness crave. We riding far from the tourist routes into four iconic New Zealand South Island Stations (farms/ ranches.) This trail enters places that can only be accessed via horse, boat or by air. These remote stations have a unique way of life not seen in the modern busy, digital world, making the experience even more magical.
What's included
Horse hire
Purpose bred adventure horse along with western tack
Saddle bag and pack bag
Saddle bags fit on the front of the saddles, the blue pack bag goes on the pack horse each day.
Taxi to the Trails
T & C's Apply, the taxi is timed to pick you up either at the station building in Queenstown or Queenstown airport. We only have one taxi and you will need to be there on time.
Accommodation
All accommodation once you are picked up by our taxi driver and up to the time the taxi driver picks you up to return to Queenstown.
Farm fresh food
Once you arrive at the trail, all food will be provided until you leave the trail. Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and drinks, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, herbal tea.
100% Kiwi Tour guide
Our owner operator, John Wall rides almost every trail. He is a 5th generation Kiwi horseman and filled with the stories of the land you travel through.
Sleeping bags
Sleeping bags and liners are available to hire if you require them
What's not included
flights to Queenstown
you will need to find your own way to Queenstown airport or the station building
accommodation before
Accommodation before and after the trail are the responsibility of the client
Specialty foods
Specialty foods, a certain bread, wine, food type. Clients can bring these along with them
Alcohol
Clients need to supply their own alcohol. Please bring boxed wine or small cans not bottles as these can smash
travel insurance
Clients need to supply their own travel insurance which includes horse riding activities
