To ride a beautiful horse through this sea of flowers, flanked by imposing, snow capped mountains is breathtaking. As though a giant has painted the landscape with blues and purples just for this short time.The stunning Ahuriri river stiches the entire landscape together with its magical ice blue fingers .This trail is designed for riders who want to wilderness ride but have hot showers, flushing toilets, Wifi, comfy beds and TV in the evenings.Suitable for riders with good levels of fitness who are wanting to get back into riding, those who have lost confidence, good riders who love and the incredible beauty of Papatuanuku (Mother Earth) dressed in her spring time flowers.There is also an option to book a hot tub at Omarama hot tubs for an evening soak(additional to cost as separate company)

T & C's Apply, the taxi is timed to pick you up either at the station building in Queenstown or Queenstown airport. We only have one taxi and you will need to be there on time.

Taxi to Trails

All accommodation once you are picked up by our taxi driver and up to the time the taxi driver picks you up to return to Queenstown.

Once you arrive at the trail, all food will be provided until you leave the trail. Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and drinks, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, herbal tea.

Our owner operator, John Wall rides almost every trail. He is a 5th generation Kiwi horseman and filled with the stories of the land you travel through.
