This trail heads deep into the heart of the Hunter Valley a world famous fly fishing river. Crystal clear glacial rivers flow from the snow capped mountain peaks through to the enigmatic lake.
We often see wild deer, native New Zealand falcons and trout playing as we ride.
The isolation of this trail gives us the opportunity to relax and take a well earned digital detox. Disconnecting the crazy do it now world and reconnecting with the rhythms of nature.

T & C's Apply, the taxi is timed to pick you up either at the station building in Queenstown or Queenstown airport. We only have one taxi and you will need to be there on time.
All accommodation once you are picked up by our taxi driver and up to the time the taxi driver picks you up to return to Queenstown.
Once you arrive at the trail, all food will be provided until you leave the trail. Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and drinks, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, herbal tea.
Our owner operator, John Wall rides almost every trail. He is a 5th generation Kiwi horseman and filled with the stories of the land you travel through.
Sleeping bags and liners are available to hire if you require them
you will need to find your own way to Queenstown airport or the station building

Specialty foods, a certain bread, wine, food type. Clients can bring these along with them
Clients need to supply their own alcohol. Please bring boxed wine or small cans not bottles as these can smash
Clients need to supply their own travel insurance which includes horse riding activities
